Thank you to Matthew, Thea, Reiden, Trevor and Sophie, who all stepped up and presented during our competitive events breakout sessions at Fall Leadership training. They each did a lot of preparation ahead of time, and they all did a fantastic job of presenting the details of their competitive event to others. These presentations will definitely go on their LEAP Leadership resume when they are working on it for the State Conference. Thank you also to the state officers, who presented multiple competitive events during the breakout sessions.
We just finished hosting more than 350 students, and 60 advisors, at our 3 Fall Leadership sessions, in Federal Way, at Microsoft, and at Central Washington University! Students built and raced cardboard boats at Federal Way and CWU, and built and raced marble rollercoasters at Microsoft. These events were part of the training on teamwork, design, problem-solving and innovation. They also received leadership skills training, and competitive event breakout sessions. THANK YOU TO ALL THE PRESENTERS FOR THOSE SESSIONS!
