Music Production (WA Only)
Description
Participants create an original musical piece.
2026-27 Challenge: Forward to 50: Soundtrack Through Time
Washington TSA is celebrating 50 years of innovation with Forward to 50, a multimedia journey through the past five decades. Your team has been commissioned to create the original soundtrack for one segment of the production. Choose the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, or 2010s and compose an original 2–3 minute musical work that captures the sound, energy, and character of that era. Your composition should accompany a visual montage highlighting the technology, culture, and innovations of your chosen decade. The conclusion of your piece should transition musically from the past toward the future.
